Clear choices, no advertising trackers
Cookie Policy
Last updated 1 August 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how the Avenue website at avenuecy.com uses cookies and similar browser technologies. The operator is Alexandros Fysentzou, a natural person operating under the name “Avenue”, not a company, registered self-employed business, or VAT-registered business.
Avenue does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or behavioural advertising. Optional first-party analytics is disabled until you consent.
2. Technologies we use
Although the common term is “cookies”, the current Avenue website primarily uses local storage and session storage. These technologies store small values in your browser and are covered by the same consent controls.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
avenue_cookie_consent | Essential | Records whether optional analytics is allowed and the consent version. | Until you clear browser data or the consent version changes. |
avenue_admin_session | Essential | Secure, HTTP-only sign-in session for authorised Avenue administrators. | Up to 8 hours. |
avenue_manager_session | Essential | Secure, HTTP-only sign-in session for authorised venue managers. | Up to 8 hours. |
avenue_anonymous_id | Analytics | Random first-party identifier used to group anonymous website analytics events. | Until browser data is cleared or analytics is rejected. |
avenue_session_id | Analytics | Random first-party identifier used to group events during one browser session. | For the browser session, or until analytics is rejected. |
If analytics is allowed, Avenue may record public event or venue page views and share actions, together with page context, approximate technical request data, and the identifiers above. See the Privacy Policy for purposes, legal bases, recipients, and retention.
Hosting and security providers may create server logs independently of this browser preference where necessary to deliver and protect the website. Embedded third-party services may apply their own technologies only when their feature is used; their policies govern those services.
3. Your choices
You can reject optional analytics and still use Avenue. “Reject optional” stores only the essential consent record, stops Avenue analytics requests, and removes Avenue’s existing analytics identifiers from local and session storage. “Allow all” enables first-party analytics. “Save preferences” applies the analytics switch you select.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of the website. You can also clear or block storage in your browser settings. If the preference record is removed or this policy’s consent version changes, Avenue will ask again before optional analytics runs.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our technologies or legal obligations change. Material changes will be shown here and, where necessary, we will ask for consent again.
